Buford Pre-Thanksgiving

Buford, Georgia pre-Thanksgiving with Shannon's extended family while Joel represented Covenant Theological Seminary at the Mission To the World Conference.

Cousin Hannah was a BIG HIT!!!!
Nana and Pops with my Niece Hannah, the only Granddaughter, who lives only 10 minutes away from them! I'm a bit jealous. . . of the close proximity and of my sister Lindsey having a GIRL!!!

Playing outside at Nana and Pop's personal retreat center.

Jonah's 2nd Grade Soccer Team Ends the Season as Champions of Good Sportsmanship!

The end of the Soccer Season here in St. Louis.
I was so proud of Jonah and the second graders who never quit!! Their cheer was: "Who are we? PELICANS! When do we quit? WE NEVER QUIT! Who do we play for? JESUS!!!"

Despite not winning a single game this season, we parents were thrilled with the growth we saw in their soccer skills and, and more importantly, in Christian Character!

September update

What a fun month!! With everything from Zeke's 4th birthday to Soccer games to Hot Air Balloons over St. Louis (look carefully at the treeline after a soccer game), we have entered our favorite season of the year. We also went to my uncle's first wedding and had a wonderful reunion with family members, including my dad's Uncle Landrum, who is actually quite famous. Google "Landrum Bolling" to find out more. Of course, who can go to a wedding in North Carolina without stopping to see Grandmom in Charlotte?
